For the Confectionery Technician written exam, passing depends more on how you review than on how many questions you solve.
Confectionery Pass is not just an app that increases the number of practice questions. It focuses on identifying your current weaknesses and retrieving questions you have already solved just before you forget them. Because the cognitive science-based FSRS algorithm analyzes the forgetting curve for each question to automatically determine the optimal review time, the amount of information retained differs significantly even with the same amount of time invested.
The Confectionery Technician written exam consists of 60 questions to be completed in 60 minutes; a score of 60 points (36 questions) or higher is required to pass, and there is no minimum passing score. Due to the 2020 NCS revision, the exam covers confectionery ingredients, manufacturing, and hygiene management as a single subject. Confectionery Pass helps you achieve a short-term pass with questions tailored to these exam standards.
[Key Features]
500 Questions Based on NCS Standards
We have included questions covering the entire scope of the Confectionery Technician written exam standards. These questions were custom-produced to align with the standards, organized into three levels: major items, detailed items, and sub-detailed items.
Detailed Explanations
Explanations are provided for every question. Instead of just checking the answer and moving on, you can understand the concepts behind why that answer is correct and why the other options are incorrect. You can preview detailed explanations that delve deeper into the subject for free up to 5 times.
**Various Solution Modes**
You can select and solve problems by unit, and your progress and proficiency levels are displayed for each unit. You can start with unsolved problems or gather and focus on your weak units. You can shuffle units to mix the order and solve problems evenly, or skip problems you get stuck on to review them later.
**FSRS Smart Review**
It extends the review interval for questions you answer correctly and quickly shows you frequently missed questions again. You don't need to create a review schedule yourself; the app takes care of the problems you need to review today.
**Review Notifications**
It reminds you of review time just when you are about to forget. Daily study reminders and FSRS review time notifications help keep your study flow uninterrupted.
**Weakness Analysis Heatmap**
View correct answer rates by unit at a glance. You can identify your weak areas by color and immediately jump to the solutions for that specific unit to focus on improving them.
Review Box & Error Notes
Incorrect answers and questions to review are automatically collected in one place. You can leave personal notes for each question, allowing you to review by seeing the reasons for your confusion alongside the concepts you have organized. It integrates with FSRS, enabling efficient repetition of only your weak points.
Practical Mock Tests

[Content Guide]
Confectionery Pass does not include past exam questions. This is because the written exam for the Confectionery Technician certification is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), meaning actual exam questions are not publicly disclosed. Furthermore, since the copyright for past questions belongs to the administering body, copying and pasting them verbatim is not permitted. Instead, we have analyzed the National Competency Standards (NCS) criteria and created study questions tailored to the format and difficulty level of the actual exam. The questions are composed of core question types with a high probability of appearing on the exam, and we do not restore or reproduce past exam questions.
