GreerGuard keeps your Android device clean from malicious, invasive, and unwanted apps - targeting the relentless popup ad apps that appear, and interrupt your regular phone usage. The impossibility to uninstall those apps is what GreerGuardian (paid) aims to provide the service of: when an app interrupts your content, you'll be alerted and given the opportunity to uninstall the app in two clicks!

𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 (DNS filter)

GreerGuard includes an optional DNS filtering feature called Safe Browsing. When enabled, it uses Android's VpnService API to create a local VPN tunnel on your device. This tunnel intercepts DNS queries - the lookups your apps make before connecting to any server - and blocks known tracker, advertising, and malware domains before a connection is ever established.

All DNS filtering happens entirely on your device. No internet traffic, browsing content, or app data is routed through any external server. The local tunnel is used solely to inspect and filter DNS queries, forwarding allowed domains to Cloudflare's DNS resolver (1.1.1.1). Your data is never collected, sold, or shared as part of this feature.

You can enable or disable Safe Browsing at any time from within the app. It has no effect on your internet speed or connectivity for allowed traffic.

GreerGuard has no ads. Just protection.
