Lauk is a ten-second plate check for people who buy every meal.
Tap the meal already in front of you and tap what you would still spend.
Lauk shows three cheap adds, cheapest first, ranked by which hollow part of
the plate they fix. A lime wedge. Raw vegetables and chili. A fried egg.
Tap one, the ring fills, and a single line appears: eat until satisfied,
not until empty.
HOW IT WORKS
• 12 universal plates across four decks: Counter, Instant, Delivery, Cafeteria
• 4 spend ceilings, shown in your local currency
• 5 satisfaction pillars: filling, fresh, rich, bright, crunch
• 40 hand-written adds you can actually get at that kind of counter
• Works offline. No camera, no barcode, no food database, no typing.
WHAT LAUK NEVER DOES
Nothing to count, no numbers about your body, no meal plans, no streaks, no
missed days, no red. There is no account and nothing to sign in to. After
the meal you tap one of three faces; that is the only tracking in the app,
and it only re-weights tomorrow's cards.
WHO IT IS FOR
Students in boarding houses, junior staff, delivery riders: anyone whose
food budget is the constraint. Lauk starts from the plate you already have
and the money you actually have, not from a recipe you cannot cook tonight.
PRICING
One plate check a day on the Counter deck is free, forever.
• Unlimited: monthly subscription with a 7-day free trial (or, for students,
