You know how much you spent. Here you know what you spent on.
The notebook is a notebook for household shopping. You point the camera at the QR code on the sales receipt (NFC-e) and the entire supermarket purchase is entered: store, items, quantities, price of each, discount, and category. No typing, no spreadsheet. Expense control that starts with the sales receipt.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan the receipt's QR code
The electronic sales receipt (NFC-e) is retrieved from the tax authority (Sefaz) and entered item by item, already separated into categories.
2. Each month is a separate page
Total entered, average per purchase, what went into each category, and the month's pace, day by day. The household budget, seen by what actually went into the shopping bag.
3. Ask the notebook
Years of shopping are too much data to look at manually. Write the question in your own words and the answer will come with the receipts from which the number came.
WHAT THE NOTEBOOK SHOWS
• The month day by day: which days you shop and how much you spend each day
• Prices that have changed since the last time — the same rice, two supermarkets, two prices
• How much the discounts on receipts took from the total for the month
• Your stores: where you shop most and where the same basket is cheaper, to compare prices between supermarkets
• The month's closing compared to the average of previous months
• Search by store or by item in the entire history
• Export everything in CSV, whenever you want
THE NOTEBOOK IS FOR THE HOUSE
Whoever shares expenses with you enters them in the same notebook. One page per month, the same history for everyone, without anyone sharing receipts with anyone else. You invite them by email.
NOT EVERY PURCHASE COMES WITH A RECEIPT
Farmers' market, bakery, Pix for the butcher. With the Subscribed Notebook, these entries are also entered without typing:
• Photo of the receipt: photograph the paper and the items are read out, so you can check line by line.
• Pix payment receipt: choose the printout and the value and destination are entered automatically.
• Message: write "market today, 1.2 kg of tomatoes at 9.80, a dozen eggs" and the notebook separates them into items.
• Ask up to 100 times per month.
• Up to three notebooks of your own — home, farm, grocery store — and up to five invited people.
WHAT COSTS NOTHING
Read QR and NFC-e, manually enter items, categories, history, insights, and export to CSV on a blank sheet. Asking includes three complimentary requests; the subscription allows 100 per month and unlocks photo, Pix, and message shortcuts.
WHERE QR CODE READING ALREADY WORKS
Notes from 24 states, from Acre to São Paulo — only Pará, Piauí, and Amapá are missing, and they're on their way. You can submit notes anywhere via photo, Pix, message, or handwritten note.
WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED
Your purchases are stored in your notebook, on the Caderneta server — or on your own server, if you prefer: on the login screen, the app points to the address you provide. You log in with your email, a code once, and then with your device's access key, without a password. You can export everything as a CSV file and delete everything whenever you want.
THE SUBSCRIPTION
Caderneta Assinada is a monthly subscription, charged through Google Play, with automatic renewal. You can cancel whenever you want, on Google Play or in the app settings. Canceling doesn't delete anything: the notes, items, and insights remain in your notebook.
Scan the QR code on your receipt and keep track of your grocery expenses, item by item.
