The full game is free, with the 70-case Classic pack and a case box for writing your own. The Presidency Pass is optional: a one-time purchase, no subscription and no ads. Only the person who opens court pays; the jury never does, and can play from their browser without installing anything.
Who'd be late to their own wedding? Who'd join a cult just for the snacks? Everyone votes in secret on their own phone, and can add an anonymous plea: "because they were late to mine." Three, two, one… Sentenzia! Out comes the guilty one, the vote bars and the pleas, and the arguing begins.
Sentenzia turns "who's most likely to…?" into an after-dinner courtroom. It's played in person, with friends who know each other, each on their own phone. The fun isn't on the screen: it's around the table.
HOW TO PLAY
1. A case about your group appears and the judge of the round reads it out loud.
2. Everyone votes in secret, with an optional anonymous plea.
3. Sentenzia! Drumroll, gavel and the verdict: the guilty one, the vote bars and the pleas, one at a time.
4. The convicted get 20 seconds to reply. And once per game they can appeal: the jury votes again.
5. At the end, the final judgment: the night's awards and a card to share with the group.
THE VOTE REALLY IS SECRET
Nobody knows who voted for whom. Not even if you pay, not even us: votes are counted on the server and deleted as they're counted. That's why people dare, and that's why it's funny.
FOUR KINDS OF CASES
• Who's most likely to…?
• Impossible dilemmas to argue about until dessert
• Guilty or not guilty?, with one player in the dock
• Anonymous confessions: "4 out of 8 confess"
JOIN IN 30 SECONDS
No accounts, no email, no passwords. The host opens court; everyone else scans the QR code or opens the link and joins from their phone, even without the app. 3 to 20 players. And to try it before game night, there's a practice trial with a simulated jury.
FUNNY, NOT AWKWARD
Cases to laugh with someone, not at them: nothing about anyone's looks, money or health. If a case doesn't fit, tap "Not this case" and get another. Any plea can be covered up for everyone. The convicted always get the last word. And nothing anyone writes leaves the game: it's deleted when court closes.
THE CASE BOX
Your group's inside jokes make the best cases, and no catalog can write them. During the game, everyone can drop up to 3 of their own cases in the box, for free.
WHAT'S FREE AND WHAT ISN'T
Free: opening court and joining, the full loop with reply, appeal and final judgment, the case box and the Classic pack (70 cases).
With the Presidency Pass, a one-time purchase: the other 8 packs (Dirty Laundry, Overshare, No Good Options, Couples Court, Water Cooler, Family Table, Deck the Halls and Spicy 18+: 245 more cases) plus every future pack, and My decks to save your own cases and share them. Your jury plays your packs for free. We'll never turn it into a subscription.
For ages 16 and up. The Spicy pack is cheeky talk, never explicit, and turning it on asks you to confirm everyone at the table is an adult.
