On August 12, 2026, the first total solar eclipse visible from Spain in over a century will take place. This app helps you experience it without having to constantly check your phone.
PERSONALIZED COUNTDOWN
When you open the app, it calculates the exact times for your location—using your GPS position and the official eclipse details published by NASA—for your location: start, maximum, end, and if you are within the path of totality, the exact start and end of the seconds when the Sun is completely obscured.
VOICE AND VIBRATION GUIDANCE
Activate it and put your phone in your pocket: it will alert you with voice and vibration at key moments (30 minutes before, 1 minute before, final countdown, start and end of totality, etc.), even with the screen off or the app running in the background. This way, you can enjoy the sky without looking at the screen.
DEMO MODE
A "Try Demo" button simulates the total eclipse in just a few minutes, with the same script of alerts as on the actual day, so you know exactly what to expect before August 12th.
100% OFFLINE
All calculations are done on your own device. The app doesn't need an internet connection to work (or to install in the hours leading up to the event, when networks are usually overloaded), it has no ads, it doesn't require registration or accounts, and it doesn't collect or share any data.
SAFETY REMINDER
The app includes a permanent reminder to use ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses to safely view the Sun, except during the exact seconds of totality if your location experiences it.
