About this app

Keythentic keeps your two-factor codes, passwords and passkeys in one encrypted vault on your phone. It's locked with a master password only you know β€” we couldn't open your vault even if we wanted to.

Free. No account to create. No ads.

πŸ” TWO-FACTOR CODES (2FA)
Scan a QR code or type in a setup key. Keythentic makes standard TOTP and HOTP codes that work with Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Amazon and every other service that supports authenticator apps. Codes refresh on their own; tap one to copy it.

πŸ”‘ PASSWORDS, CARDS AND NOTES
Save logins, payment cards and secure notes. A built-in generator makes strong, unique passwords, and each login can keep its 2FA code right next to its password.

πŸͺͺ PASSKEYS
Create and use passkeys on any site or app that supports them, through Android's Credential Manager. You can also sign in on your computer by scanning its QR code with your phone β€” a Bluetooth check confirms your phone is really beside it.

πŸ’» SIGN IN ON YOUR COMPUTER
With the Keythentic extension for Chrome, click it on a sign-in page, scan the code with the app and approve. Your login and 2FA code are filled in, end-to-end encrypted, and nothing is stored in the browser.

⚑ AUTOFILL THAT CAN'T BE FOOLED
Set Keythentic as your Autofill service and it fills your logins β€” and their 2FA codes β€” in Chrome and other apps. Matching uses the real website domain, so a look-alike site doesn't get your password.

πŸ›‘οΈ SECURITY CHECK
See a score for your vault and what to fix: breached, reused, weak and old passwords, sites hit by a breach since you last changed the password, and sites where you could turn on 2FA or a passkey. Breach checks send only the first 5 characters of a password's hash, so the service never learns the password; everything else is worked out on your phone.

πŸ”’ APP LOCK THAT FIGHTS BACK
Unlock with your fingerprint or face, backed by your phone's secure hardware (Android Keystore), or with a PIN. Wrong master passwords make you wait longer each time, and you can choose to erase the vault after too many. Lock instantly when the screen turns off, or from a Quick Settings tile.

🧳 PROTECTION FOR HARD MOMENTS
Turn these on when you need them. A duress password opens a decoy vault if someone makes you unlock. Emergency access lets a person you trust in after a waiting period you can stop. Travel mode takes chosen folders off the phone for a trip. You can also hide codes until tapped, unlock with a PIN, and share a login as an encrypted file.

πŸ“Ž RECOVERY CODES AND FILES
Keep a login's 2FA recovery codes with it, and attach files to logins and notes. They're encrypted with the rest of your vault.

☁️ BACKUPS THAT STAY ENCRYPTED
Back up your encrypted vault to your own Google Drive, or export an encrypted file you control. Either way, what leaves your phone is encrypted. Test a backup any time without restoring it, and print an emergency kit with the steps to get back in.

πŸ“₯ BRING EVERYTHING OVER
Import from Google Password Manager, Bitwarden, LastPass, 1Password, Dashlane, KeePass, Proton Pass, Apple Passwords, Aegis and otpauth:// links. You see exactly what will be added before anything is saved.

🎨 THREE THEMES, YOUR CHOICE
Midnight is dark with a lime accent and your codes in a clean list. Daylight is light and calm with grouped lists. Bento lays your codes out as bold colour tiles. Daylight and Bento come in light and dark. Switch any time in Settings, and the app icon changes to match.

HOW YOUR DATA IS PROTECTED
β€’ Your vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with a key derived from your master password by Argon2id
β€’ Encryption happens on your phone, before anything is saved or backed up
β€’ No analytics SDK and no ad network in the app
β€’ Works offline
