Light every street of the old town. Never let two lanterns see each other.

Lanterns & Shadows is a calm logic puzzle. Place lanterns on the grid: each one lights its row and column until a wall stops it. Light every street, keep every lantern out of another's light, and match the numbers on the walls, which count the lanterns beside them. That's the whole game, and it goes surprisingly deep.

ONE ANSWER, NO GUESSING
• Every puzzle has exactly one solution.
• Every puzzle can be solved by reasoning alone. You never have to guess.
• Mistakes show up the moment you make them: two lanterns that see each other turn red.

200 PUZZLES, 10 DISTRICTS
• Play straight through, from the Harbour to the Grand Plaza.
• Boards grow from 5×5 to 12×12, and each district adds one new idea:
– Canals: light crosses water.
– Mirrors: light turns corners.
– Short lamps: light only reaches three squares.
– Shadows: squares that must stay dark.

HINTS THAT EXPLAIN
• Stuck? A hint highlights the next logical step and tells you why it's true.
• Tap "Show me" to apply it, or work it out yourself.
• Earn up to 3 stars per level: solve it, skip the hints, beat par.
