I used to be severely addicted to my phone. I'd spend entire days scrolling through social media feeds and short-form videos without even realizing it.

The turning point came when I discovered simple launchers, app blockers, and screen time trackers. Making overused apps less visible really worked for me. But over time, I hit their limits — conditional blocking like "block X only on home Wi-Fi" required a separate tool, checking usage stats meant yet another app, each with its own subscription and ads. And text-only launchers made it impossible to tell apart similar apps like Google and Microsoft Authenticator. Too simple was its own kind of inconvenient.

What I really wanted was one app that did it all. So I built Focus Launcher — a launcher, app blocker, and usage tracker combined into one.

KEY FEATURES

Minimal Home Screen
Only the apps you choose are displayed. A clean, dark interface with a large clock keeps your home screen calm and focused — with icons, not just text.

Smart Block Rules
Create rules to restrict apps based on Wi-Fi network or time of day. "Block X only when connected to home Wi-Fi" — the kind of conditional control that used to require multiple apps.

Usage Timeline
See exactly how much time you spend on each app, day by day. No need for a separate screen time tracker.

Grayscale Mode
Display app icons in monochrome to reduce the visual appeal of your phone and curb impulsive app launches.

Hide apps you want to avoid from the app list entirely. Launch them only when you truly need to.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your usage history and blocking rules are stored only on your device — never sent to external servers. You can delete them anytime from Settings. No ads, no data sales. Only anonymous crash reports are transmitted. Built by a phone-addicted developer, for himself — and for anyone like him.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
- Usage Access: Required to track which apps you open and for how long.
- Display Over Other Apps: Required to show the block screen.
- Accessibility Service: Used solely to detect which app is currently opened and display a blocking screen when it matches your rules. This service does NOT read or record screen content, capture typed text or passwords, track touch input, or collect any personal data. All processing occurs locally on your device.
