Audio Router Remote puts the Audio Router mixer from your Linux PC on your phone or tablet. Reach for a fader without leaving the game, the call or the sofa.
IMPORTANT: this app is a remote control. It needs Audio Router 1.3 or newer running on a Linux PC with PipeWire, on the same home network. Audio Router is free and open source: https://github.com/lmck-dev/AudioRouter
It does not route the phone's own audio. No PC to hand? The built-in demo plays a song on your phone, split into four channels, so you can try every control first.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Move every channel's fader, with its live stereo meter inside the fader
• Mute and solo channels
• Open a channel's effects: switch each one on or off, and hold and slide to set how much of it you hear (wet mix)
• Pan a channel left or right
• Set your microphones and output devices: volume and mute, with live meters
• See what is playing now and send any app to another channel
• Bypass every effect at once to hear the difference
PAIRING TAKES ONE SCAN
Open Phone remote in Audio Router on the PC and scan the QR code with this app.
No account, no sign-up, no cloud.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• The app talks only to your own PC, over your home network
• Audio Router refuses phones from outside your home network unless you allow it on the PC
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics, nothing collected
• The camera is used only to read the pairing code
BUILT FOR SMALL SCREENS TOO
Inputs, Channels and Outputs each get their own pane, and channels scroll sideways in one row. Works on phones and tablets from Android 7.
