Pigeoneers is a simulator of sending letters by homing pigeon. You write a letter, pick a pigeon and send it on its way. Then you wait, because the bird needs as long as the real trip would take.
Flight time comes from the distance, the weather along the route and the stops for rest. The farther away the recipient lives, the longer the journey. A standard pigeon flies by day, roosts after dark and carries on at dawn. A night pigeon does the opposite: it sleeps by day and flies in the dark.
You can follow the whole route on the map: where the pigeon is now, how far it has flown, what the wind is doing. There is a flight journal too, and a 3D view that puts you right behind the bird.
The waiting is part of the fun. A letter sent in the evening can land around dawn, and the reply comes the next day. It suits a note to a friend, an apology, birthday wishes or a plain "hey, I'm here".
What you can do
• write a letter, attach a photo, lock it with a password, mark an occasion
• match the bird to the trip: standard flies by day, night flies after dark, electronic goes short with a daily send limit
• follow the flight on the map, read the route journal, switch to the 3D view
• take the controls and land at the recipient's loft yourself
• add friends by nickname or QR code, and invite someone without an account by link
• look after the loft: grain in the pantry, resting birds, pigeon levels, achievements
• write a letter to yourself that arrives on a day you choose
The app is free and so is sending letters. The shop has skins and extras paid with in-app rings, but you need none of it to write.
Important: no live pigeon flies anywhere. It all happens in a simulation, the birds are drawn, and the map and weather come from real data.
Languages: English, Polish and Silesian.
