Pathside is an ai file viewer for Android that draws the file itself. Open a .ai, .eps, .svg or PDF and you are looking at the real artwork — sharp at any zoom, on the phone. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

OPENS WHAT A DESIGNER SENDS
• Illustrator .ai files, drawn as true vector, one page per artboard

IT TELLS YOU THE TRUTH
Most of what is sold as a vector file viewer on Android is a web uploader with a viewer bolted on: your file goes to a server, comes back as a picture, and pixelates when you zoom. And when one of them cannot manage a file, it shows a blank canvas and leaves you guessing. Pathside names the reason. A CorelDRAW .cdr file? It says so — those are not opened here. A .psd? That is layered pixels, a different job. A PostScript .eps with no PDF inside? It says that too, instead of pretending — an eps file viewer can only draw what the file actually contains. You always know whether the problem is your file or the app.

What’s new

Fixes from the first days on Play:

• Opening a second file now shows that file. Before, Pathside kept showing the first file you opened until it was restarted.
• The back gesture now returns to your files from a drawing or from Settings instead of closing the app. A file opened from another app still goes back to that app.
• In dark mode, the export formats and sizes and the artboard numbers are readable again.
