About this game

Reef Keeper is a relaxing ocean aquarium sim where you run a whole living marine ecosystem, not just a fish tank. Buy fish, raise their babies, sell them for profit, and spend what you earn to grow a small lagoon into an open ocean with dolphins, sea otters, manta rays and a whale.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Buy fish from the shop, starting with damselfish and clown gobies.
• Pair a male and a female, keep them fed, and they breed. Sell the babies for coins, or keep them: animals grow more valuable the longer they live in your water.
• Earn more by keeping things clean. Tap the poop on the sand and algae on the rocks and every scoop pays.
• Spend your earnings on upgrades: bigger habitats, faster breeding, warm currents, growth vitamins, a shark net, twin genes and more.
• Unlock bigger animals as your ocean grows: sea turtles, octopus, rays, sea lions, hammerheads, orcas and whales, 30+ kinds of sea life in all.

A REAL FOOD WEB
Nothing is hand-fed. Krill feed anchovies, anchovies feed mackerel, and every animal hunts the food that is actually in the water. Stock the feeder schools once and they keep breeding on their own. If the food runs out, your animals stop breeding.

KEEP IT IN BALANCE
Sea urchins graze the kelp forest and the coral. Too many urchins leave bare rock. Too few and the kelp chokes the water. Sea otters eat urchins and keep the middle. Moon jellyfish bloom when nothing eats them, and sea turtles keep them in check. Reef fish need coral to shelter in. Every choice ripples through the ecosystem.

• Rare golden and dark morph babies worth far more than regular ones.
• Wild sharks that raid your fish unless you tap them away.
• Dolphin pods passing through to hunt your mackerel.
• Poachers' nets to cut before they reach your big animals.

CALM BY DESIGN
Pinch to zoom from the whole ocean down to one fish, and tap any animal to follow it as it swims. Your ocean keeps living while you are away, so you can come back to new babies. There are no ads, no timers to beat, and nothing to rush.
