About this app

Studio Tab is a private music teacher's studio book — students, lessons,
practice and payments, all on your phone and all offline.

Built for the teacher, not the school. No account to create and nothing to
sign in to. Open it and it works, even with no signal in a practice room.

WHO OWES YOU, AT A GLANCE
The home screen answers the question that actually costs you money: who hasn't
paid. A running total, and a per-student breakdown you can act on.

YOUR STUDENTS
Keep instrument, level, contact and hourly rate together. See a student's
balance, lesson history and payments on one screen.

LESSONS AND ATTENDANCE
Set recurring weekly slots once. Mark each lesson attended, cancelled or as a
makeup as you go — that's what builds the balance, so the total is never
quietly wrong.

PRACTICE LOG
Record what a student practised and for how long. A weekly minutes summary
shows you who is actually putting the work in between lessons.

REPERTOIRE
Track every piece from learning to polishing to performance-ready, so you know
what each student can play when a recital comes around.

RECITALS AND EXAMS
Add a date and get a countdown, per student or for the whole studio.

INVOICES AND RECEIPTS
Produce a clean PDF invoice or receipt and share it however you like.

SIMPLE PRICING, BUILT FOR ONE TEACHER
Studio Tab is free for up to 5 students - full schedule, attendance, payments
and balances, no time limit. Go further with Studio Tab Pro: unlimited
students, PDF invoices and receipts, practice and repertoire export, and
backup, for $4.99/month or $29.99/year (that's under $2.50/month paid
yearly — about 50% cheaper than paying month to month). Most studio-management
software is built and priced for schools, starting around $16.95/month with
extra fees per teacher added. Studio Tab is priced for the one-teacher
studio, not a school administration system.

What’s new

New: edit or delete payments and lessons, and an Archived students list with Unarchive. Archived students who still owe stay in your total. Fixed: amounts typed with a comma (12,50), the week view after clock changes, invoices with non-Latin names, separate totals per currency, buttons hidden behind the navigation bar. Pro subscribers can manage their plan in Settings. The free version now shows a small banner on Owed and Students; Pro removes it.
