Rota is an offline-first shift scheduling app for shift workers in any industry — nurses, factory teams, security, hospitality and more. Your schedule lives on your device, with no account and no internet required for the core features.

PRIVACY
Your roster and personal data never leave your device. Rota has no business backend and shows no ads. The only network use is the optional in-app purchase to unlock Pro. Back up and restore anytime as a local .rota file.

What’s new

New: import a roster from a photo

• Pick an image from your album, or scan with the camera. Text is recognised on your phone — nothing is uploaded.
• Three ways to scan: Google's scanner, the in-app viewfinder, or your camera. The viewfinder snaps to the table edges, shoots when steady, crops, and does multi-page.
• Edit the recognised table during import; name mix-ups get merge suggestions.
• "Rest" is no longer a shift — rename, merge or exclude it in a new step.
