Ahead: Countdown Days & Widget

Nova Nest

About this app

Ahead is a calm countdown app for the days you are looking forward to. A trip in June, a friend visiting on Friday, a film on Thursday. Put it on the horizon and Ahead counts the days until it arrives. When the day has been lived, keep a few lines and some photos from it.

No ads. No account. No internet connection needed. Everything you add stays on your phone.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Name the moment, add where it happens, and pick the day. Tomorrow and Next week are one tap; anything else opens a month picker.
2. Ahead shows what is next up as one big number, with the rest of your horizon listed below in date order. Plans on the same day are grouped together.
3. When the day arrives, mark it lived. Write what you want to remember and keep photos from that day.
4. Lived moments move to Past, where each one shows how many days you waited for it.

COUNTDOWN WIDGETS
• Next up: a home screen widget showing the days left until your next plan
• Horizon list: your upcoming countdowns at a glance
• Both widgets resize to fit your home screen
• Widgets roll over at midnight, so the day count stays right without opening the app

MADE FOR ANTICIPATION
• Days until every trip, visit, birthday, anniversary, concert, or holiday
• Travel and People kinds to tell plans apart
• Add a place and a note to any countdown
• Edit or delete any moment
• A Past tab that turns finished countdowns into a quiet record of what you lived
• Paper and Night themes, or follow your device setting

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Ahead has no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and does not request internet access. Your countdowns, notes, and photos are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. Photos you choose are copied into the app, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

A countdown does not have to be for something big. Put one small thing down today.
