Turn your Android home screen and lock screen into a changing gallery of remarkable photography. Chroma helps you discover photos and schedule a fresh wallpaper automatically.

Find the right photo

Explore new and curated photography, or search photos, collections, and creators. Narrow photo search by orientation, color, relevance, recency, and content-safety level. Open any image to see photographer credit, location, camera and EXIF details, tags, statistics, and related collections.

Change your wallpaper your way

Apply a photo to your home screen, lock screen, or both. Download photos you want to keep, like favorites, and organize images in collections after signing in.

Automatic wallpaper changer

Build a wallpaper rotation from featured or random photos, selected collections, a favorite creator, or your own search terms. Choose a schedule from every 15 minutes to monthly. Limit scheduled changes to Wi-Fi or charging, select a photo orientation and content-safety preference, and optionally see the photographer in a notification after each change.

Quick controls and history

Review wallpaper history and skip to the next image from a home-screen widget or Quick Settings tile. Chroma keeps automatic wallpaper controls close without getting in the way.

Chroma is an independent app that uses the Unsplash API and is not owned, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Unsplash. Photos are credited to their photographers and link back to their Unsplash profiles.

Browsing, search, downloads, and manual wallpaper application are available without Chroma+. Scheduled wallpaper rotation, custom rotation sources, history, widget, and Quick Settings controls require Chroma+.
