When you write down an appointment, the things needed for that day and place follow along.
Calendar apps only tell you "when and where." What truly leaves something to be desired is what comes next.
Is it raining? What should I wear? What time should I leave? Where should I go after work?
Plan Mate provides answers to those questions.
■ Weather and Preparation for That Time and Place
Based on the appointment time and location, it checks the temperature, wind chill, probability of precipitation, wind, humidity, UV index, and fine dust levels.
It also indicates what you need to prepare for.
Whether to bring an umbrella, throw on a jacket, or if a mask is necessary.
■ What Should I Wear Today?
It considers both the wind chill and the nature of the occasion.
Even on the same day, the answer differs for a meeting with a client and a dinner with a friend.
It also takes into account whether it is a day with a lot of walking or if you are driving.
■ What Time You Need to Leave
It measures the distance between your starting point and the meeting location, and calculates the travel time by taking into account the time of day (commute, late night, weekends) and rain forecasts. It also compares public transportation and your own car side-by-side to tell you which is better.
You can see the departure time for each appointment immediately on the list screen.
■ What to Eat and Where to Go
It determines what to look for based on whether it is lunch, dinner, or a drinking gathering, whether it is raining or hot, or if it is a formal occasion. It leads directly to a map app search.
If your schedule involves driving to a drinking gathering, it also points that out.
■ How Much You Spent
You can record your estimated and actual expenses separately. You can see how much you spent and where each month and year, which appointments you had frequently, and which neighborhoods you visited often.
■ Notifications for Departure Time
It notifies you at the time you are leaving. You can set how many minutes before the notification you want to receive.
■ Schedules Stay Only on This Device
There are no accounts, logins, or servers. Your scheduled events never leave the device. When transferring to another device or backing up, export it as a single file.
Send it via KakaoTalk, Mail, or Google Drive, and then import it on the receiving device.
Since it merges without overwriting, the schedules on both devices will not be lost.
― Things to Note ―
• Travel time and fares are estimates calculated based on distance and time zone.
This is not real-time traffic information. Please check the exact route using a map app.
If you enter the ODsay key, only public transportation will switch to actual route lookup (see below).
• For restaurants and places, it does not create a list; instead, you decide what to look for and
pass it to the map app search.
• Schedules are stored only on the device. There is no account or login, and even the developer cannot view them.
When changing devices or backing up, export the file to transfer it.
• Weather uses Open-Meteo, place searches use OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and distances use OSRM.
• The Android app contains advertisements. The ads are not aware of the schedules you have entered. • If desired, you can add your Kakao or ODsay API key to the settings (optional). Adding it makes location searches
more accurate for domestic business names and switches public transportation searches from estimates to actual route lookups.
The key is stored only on the device and is not transmitted anywhere. The app will function as usual even without adding it.
If you write down an appointment, it shows the weather, attire, departure time, and even the cost for that time and place.
