About this app

PeerPod is a private campus app for university students.

PeerPod is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university.

There are thousands of students on the same campus, but most of them never meet. Someone looking for a tennis partner, a teammate for a course project, or last term's lecture notes gets lost in scattered group chats. PeerPod brings all of it together.

SLOTS & MATCHING
Open a slot for an activity and choose who joins. Tennis, running, basketball, study sessions, project partners, coffee — whatever it is. You approve join requests, and a shared chat opens once you do.

NOTES & SECOND-HAND BOOKS
Share your lecture notes or books, and find what you need. Search by course code. Any exchange happens between you, outside the app.

FORUM & DEPARTMENT ROOMS
Talk about what's happening on campus, ask questions, get answers. Each department also has its own private room — internships, courses, instructors; questions about your department stay in your department.

BLOGS
A place for longer writing. Approved authors publish, everyone reads. Campus cats live here too: get to know the cats around campus and share photos and sightings.

CLUBS & EVENTS
See campus events in a calendar, mark the ones you'll attend, and don't miss them.

TURKISH AND ENGLISH
The app is available in Turkish and English. You pick your language on first launch and can change it later in settings.

SAFETY AND PRIVACY COME FIRST
- Sign-in requires a verified university email address.
- Usernames are anonymous; your real name is only visible to people you match or chat with.
- Nobody can message you without permission — a message request comes first, and the chat opens only if you accept.
- Blocking, reporting and moderation are built in. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours at the latest.
- Our access to your private messages is restricted; only a reported message can be reviewed, and every review is logged.
- You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app at any time.

PeerPod is free, has no ads and no in-app purchases.

Note: Signing in requires an institutional email address from a supported university.
