Apex GP is open-wheel racing built for a phone: thirteen circuits from real-world road layouts, a full race weekend, and weather that changes the track. No ads, no energy timers, no account needed to play.
THE CIRCUITS
Apex Park, Monzetta, Spa-Franchecamps, Silverstown, Monte Carla (a street circuit), Interlagoon, Spielburg, Hungarama, Circuit of the Almericas, Montreel, Sandvoort, Suzaka (a figure-of-eight layout) and Marino Bay (a street circuit). The layouts are real; the names are parodies.
HOW IT DRIVES
· Tilt to steer, or drag on the left of the screen, and use the throttle and brake pedals on the right — you can hold both.
· Assists from none to full, including traction control, ABS and optional braking help.
· A controller works when one is connected, and a USB racing wheel and pedals plug straight into an Android phone and drive the car with no setup at all.
· Two eras: a modern car with DRS and a V6 turbo hybrid, or a Classic 1989 car with a V10 and no driver aids.
· Weather that soaks and dries the track, so grip, AI pace and braking all change.
· Tyre compounds and pit stops, wing damage, gravel traps that throw dust and stones, and steward penalties for cutting corners.
· Chase, cockpit, T-cam, nose and TV cameras, plus a strategy view for race management.
· A career to climb, quick races and custom races, and mod support for your own cars and tracks.
WHAT IT IS
Apex GP is an independent, unofficial game. It is not an official Formula 1 game and is not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, any real team, driver, circuit owner or sponsor. Circuit names are parodies; every team, driver and sponsor in the game is fictional. Apex Park (Cheshire) follows the Oulton Park layout; Suzaka (Nippon) follows the Suzuka circuit layout; Marino Bay (Singapura) follows the Marina Bay street-circuit layout.
