Oliver: Provable Witness turns your device into a cryptographic evidence tool. Every photo, video, and sensor reading you capture is hashed into a tamper-evident chain, allowing you to prove exactly what was recorded, when, and where.

How it works

When you capture media with Oliver, the app builds a SHA3-256 hash chain in real-time. Each video keyframe, audio sample, GPS coordinate, compass heading, and accelerometer reading is individually hashed and linked to the previous one. If a single frame is altered, the entire chain breaks, and Oliver will tell you exactly where.

The result is a cryptographic proof of authenticity that doesn't rely on trust. It relies on math.

Capture

Record video and audio while Oliver silently builds hash chains in the background. GPS, compass, and accelerometer data are captured alongside your media, giving you a complete, verifiable record of the moment.

Geolocation Proofs

Record a tamper-proof trail of GPS coordinates, compass headings, and accelerometer readings in the background. Prove you walked a certain path or were at a specific location with cryptographic certainty.

Document Scanning

Capture text from physical documents using OCR and hash the results into a verifiable claim. Prove what a document said and when you scanned it.

Import

Already have media? Import photos, videos, and audio files to generate hash chains for existing content. Oliver supports MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG, AAC, MP3, WAV, and more.

Verify

Re-compute the hash chain for any asset at any time. Oliver replays every frame and sensor reading to confirm nothing has been modified. You get a clear pass or fail, and if it fails, you'll see exactly which frame was tampered with.

Share

Export your verified media as an .oliver package or share it directly. Recipients can independently verify the hash chain to confirm authenticity.

Oliver embeds C2PA manifests directly into your media. These follow the emerging industry standard for content authentication, so your provenance data travels with the file and is readable by any C2PA-compatible platform.
