About this game

No Signal brings together four logic puzzles and two board games to play in peace: 100% offline, no ads, no tracking, and without requesting any system permissions — not even internet access. This is verifiable on the app's own page.

HONEST PUZZLES, NO GUESSING
Each board of the four puzzles is generated with a single solution proof and is only accepted if it can be solved with pure logic. In the minefield, the promise is the same: no game requires guessing—from the opening to the end, there is always a safe move that can be deduced. The difficulty levels are calibrated by the technique the board demands, not by the number of clues.

In the minefield, the Easy level forgives: stepping on a mine offers undoing and shows the missing deduction. From Medium onwards, the explosion ends the game.

CHESS AND CHECKERS, FIVE LEVELS EACH
The opponent is an engine that runs on its own machine, without any server—from the Beginner, who makes mistakes on purpose to let you get into the game, to the Maximum, who thinks for a few seconds before responding.

Chess has complete rules, castling, en passant, and promotion with piece choice, and recognizes the four draws: stalemate, 50 moves, threefold repetition, and insufficient material. The checkers are Brazilian: mandatory capture by the Law of Majority, long-range checker, and Turkish move.

In both, choose your side, play against the app or with another person on the same device, and undo moves whenever you want. Each game saves the ongoing match and the score of wins, draws, and losses by level — only here, on the device.

TIP KEY
Stuck on a puzzle? The hint system has three levels: first it points out the technique and where to apply it; then it explains the complete reasoning; only lastly does it reveal the move. If you made a mistake, it diagnoses the contradiction before teaching you.

• Hub-style home screen: daily challenges at the top, ongoing matches below, and six games in a grid
• Unlimited undo/redo with full fidelity
• Auto-save after every move — close, kill the process, turn off the device: the game resumes exactly where it left off
• Sudoku, nonogram, and Minesweeper daily challenges: the same puzzle for everyone on the same date, with a sequence of days separated by game
• Local achievements, timer with pause, notes, light/dark theme
• Haptic feedback (with toggle) and statistics saved only on the device
• Screen reader: boards are navigated square by square with spoken labels, and chess and checkers announce the opponent's move as soon as they play
