RawDrop copies photos from your camera to your phone or tablet over Wi-Fi: the original RAW (ARW) files and the camera's JPEGs, in full size.
Many older Sony cameras send only JPEGs to a phone. RawDrop uses the camera's "Send to Computer" mode instead, which gives the original ARW files.
How it works
• Pair the camera once: open roszkowski.dev/rawdrop on a computer with Chrome or Edge and connect the camera with its USB cable. With a USB-OTG adapter you can also pair from the phone.
• Put the camera and the phone on the same Wi-Fi, or use the phone's hotspot.
• Open RawDrop, then start Send to Computer on the camera. RawDrop finds the camera and shows all photos.
• Select photos and download RAW, JPEG or both.
Features
• Original ARW files, not previews
• RAW and JPEG of the same photo are shown as one shot
• Photos grouped by day, with thumbnails from the camera
• Downloads go to Pictures/RawDrop on your phone
• Share RAW files to your photo editor
• Send to Smartphone mode: connect with NFC or the camera Wi-Fi password and download JPEGs
• Step-by-step guide in the app
• No account, no ads, no data collection
