About this app

Safella is the personal safety app for women that fits real life: an AI fake call that gets you out of an uncomfortable moment, SOS alerts to your trusted contacts, live location sharing and walk-home tracking. Not just a panic button you hope you never need, but tools for an ordinary Tuesday night.

THE AI FAKE CALL THAT GETS YOU HOME
Schedule a realistic incoming call before a date, or trigger one instantly. Your phone rings full-screen with a name you chose. Answer and talk naturally with an AI companion who talks back, giving you a believable reason to leave an uncomfortable date, meeting or situation. Escape calls (Date Escape and Call Me) are part of Safella Pro.

ONE HOLD FOR EMERGENCIES
Hold the SOS button and Safella alerts your trusted contacts with your live location and callback number, starts capturing evidence, and puts your local emergency number one tap away.
You always decide whether to call emergency services. Safella never calls or dispatches responders automatically.

WALK WITH ME
Share your route with someone you trust. If you stop moving, leave your route or don't arrive as expected, your trusted contacts can be alerted, even while your phone is locked in your pocket. Walk With Me is part of Safella Pro.

CHECK-IN TIMER
Set a countdown before you go somewhere. If you miss the check-in, Safella can alert your trusted contacts automatically. The timer runs on Safella's servers, so the alert can still go out if your phone becomes unavailable.

SAFETY RECORDER
When a moment feels wrong, start video or audio evidence capture in one tap while your screen shows an ordinary calculator or weather screen. Clips are time-stamped, location-tagged when permission is available, and saved privately in your Incidents timeline, ready to become part of a structured report.

A COMMUNITY THAT LOOKS OUT
See safety information shared by women near you, from poorly lit streets to places where others have felt safe. Community features include content filtering, reporting, blocking and moderator review.

YOUR AI COMPANION
Text or call Safella's AI companions whenever you need a calm presence or a believable conversation. Video calls show an AI avatar.

PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT
Safella is built in Copenhagen with privacy at its foundation. Your location is shared only with the people you select, during features you intentionally activate. Safella does not upload your phone's address book and does not sell your personal data.

FREE AND PRO
Free: SOS alerts, the Check-in Timer, live location sharing, the Safety Recorder, the community, AI chat, up to 3 trusted contacts and a few AI call minutes every month.
Safella Pro unlocks escape calls (Date Escape and Call Me), Walk With Me, custom AI companions, more AI call time and more trusted contacts.
