DevMon is a phone client for a Docker host you already run.
It talks to devmon-agent, a small API you install on your own machine. There is no DevMon cloud, no account and no sign-in — your phone and your host talk directly, and nobody in between ever sees your containers.
PAIRING, ONCE
Pairing generates a private key inside the Android Keystore, where it stays: it never leaves the device, and the app itself cannot read it. Only a certificate signing request goes to the agent, which answers with a client certificate. You compare the CA fingerprint once, and from then on every call is mutually authenticated TLS, pinned to that one certificate authority. Cleartext connections are refused outright. When the certificate nears its expiry the app tells you, and renews it on your word.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See every container on the host, running or stopped, with health, uptime, exit codes and restart policy
• Start, stop, restart, kill and delete containers, with a confirmation on the ones that bite
• Follow live logs over a streaming connection, pause and resume them, and choose how much history to load
• Inspect ports, mounts, networks, environment variables and the image behind a container
• Browse images, networks and volumes on the host
• Pair several hosts and switch between them
THE HOST STAYS IN CHARGE
The agent decides what is allowed, not the phone. Run it read-only and every lifecycle call is refused; the app shows you exactly which rule refused and why, instead of a generic error. The agent's own container is protected in every mode. Revoke a device on the host and this phone loses access, including any stream it already had open.
HEALTH NOTIFICATIONS
DevMon can keep a connection to the hosts you choose and alert you when a container turns unhealthy, dies, or is killed for running out of memory. It is off by default, per host, and it uses the same authenticated connection as everything else.
FREE AND PRO
DevMon is free for up to two paired hosts, with every feature on them — health notifications included. A one-time purchase, not a subscription, lifts that limit so you can pair as many hosts as you run. Nothing else is behind it, and hosts you already paired stay fully usable either way.
PRIVACY
No analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising ID. Hosts, containers, logs and certificates never leave your device — the only traffic is to the host you paired. The single third-party service is the payment processor that validates the Pro purchase.
REQUIREMENTS
A machine running devmon-agent that your phone can reach, and Android 11 or newer.
Your Docker host from your phone. Mutual TLS, no cloud account, no telemetry.
