About this app

The official SLSMC mobile application for bridge status provides real-time updates using color-coded indicators to quickly inform users of a bridge's status. The primary statuses in the application include:
• Green ("Available"): The bridge is currently down and open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Users are encouraged to "TAKE the GREEN" as it typically indicates the bridge should remain available for at least the next 15 minutes.
• Yellow ("Raising Soon"): The bridge is currently down and open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Users are cautioned that the bridge may raise in the next 15 minutes.
• Red ("Raising, Raised, Lowering"): The bridge is currently up and closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The status is expected to change after the vessel passes under the bridge.
• Red ("Maintenance"): The bridge is currently out of service and closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Users are cautioned that the bridge is under maintenance for a lengthy period.
