Sworn is accountability without surveillance. What you've sworn off simply doesn't load—and, if you choose, one short email goes to a person you trust when you slip. No screenshots. No browsing history collected.

You can turn any category on or off at any time. Malware and ad/tracker blocking stay free; the other categories require a subscription.

BLOCK APPS, NOT JUST WEBSITES
For Social media, Gaming, and Gambling, Sworn can also block the apps themselves—not only their websites. When you open an app you've chosen to block, Sworn closes it and returns you to your home screen. This is optional and is powered by Android's Accessibility permission (see "Accessibility permission" below). It never prevents you from uninstalling Sworn or any other app.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Name what you're swearing off. Malware and ad/tracker blocking are on by default.
2. Turn the filter on — the app walks you through one simple Settings screen.
3. (Optional) Name up to three accountability partners by email. Each partner receives one email asking for consent. They tap a link to accept, or simply ignore it to decline.
4. If you slip, they hear one sentence about it. Your confirmed partners receive one short email: that you tripped the filter, never the URL or the app name. Further attempts within the next 24 hours roll into a single summary, so nobody gets spammed.

You can use Sworn entirely on your own. Accountability partners are optional and off by default.

ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION (Blocked Apps)
Sworn's optional Blocked Apps feature uses the AccessibilityService API. With your permission, Sworn detects which app comes to the foreground and, if it is one you chose to block, sends you back to your home screen. Sworn reads only the name of the app on screen—it never reads the contents of your screen, your keystrokes, your messages, or any other text, and nothing it observes ever leaves your device. Website filtering works fully without this permission; granting it is your choice, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Accessibility → Sworn.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
• One short email is the whole system: No dashboards, no weekly reports, no daily check-ins. Someone you trust hears from us when it matters, and otherwise hears nothing at all.
• Private by design: We never see your screen. Unlike other accountability tools, Sworn does not take screenshots.
• Discreet alerts: Partners see an attempt count, never a list of sites or apps. They see "1 blocked attempt today," not your private activity.
• Consent first: We never email anyone without permission. Every partner must opt in, and can unsubscribe in one tap.
• Speed & simplicity: No account. No password. Setup takes about three minutes.

SUBSCRIPTION
A monthly subscription unlocks every category beyond malware and ads/trackers, plus the accountability partner features. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscriptions. Malware and ad/tracker blocking stay free even after a subscription ends.

PRIVACY & TERMS
We do not log the websites you visit. Partner email addresses are stored only to deliver alerts and only after the partner consents.
