You are a dot. Everything else would like you gone. No worries. It will succeed.
DOT PROTOCOL is a survival shooter played with one thumb. Drag to move. Your weapons fire by themselves. That is the division of labour: you keep the dot alive, the arsenal does the rest.
HOW A RUN GOES
• A run is 20 minutes on the clock, and the clock runs on what you kill. Kill faster and it runs faster.
• Level up, pick a card. Every tenth level, a perk. Every bad pick, a lesson.
• Bosses arrive on schedule. TRIAD splits when angry. HEX WARDEN has six shields and counted them twice. MONOLITH prints itself on the floor, and the floor burns.
• At 20:00 the clock runs out. The game does not. Something is waiting past 20:00. Nobody who met it wrote anything down.
THE FINE PRINT
• 11 weapons. All of them fire at once. None of them ask first.
• 7 levels each. Feed a weapon the right skill and level 7 evolves it.
• 55 infusions. Two maxed weapons weld into one slot. Any two. All 55 pairs work.
• 6 ships. Every one of them is a dot. You start with one, and a pistol. The pistol is fine.
• Two currencies earned every run, a refundable upgrade tree, weapon mastery, artifacts, achievements, and a codex that fills in as you discover things.
FAIR TERMS
• The first 10:00 of every run are free, forever, with the whole progression system.
• One purchase unlocks the full 20:00 and everything after it. Once. Yours to keep.
• An optional SUPPORTER pack buys nothing that plays: a mark under the title and your name in the credits roll.
NO STRINGS
• Plays offline. No account, no sign-in.
• Your progress stays on your phone. So do your mistakes. Save it to a file whenever you like.
• Laid out for small screens, down to 360 pixels wide.
