About this app

Most rail apps are built for buying a ticket. FleetWatch is built for the journey you already
take: what's on the platform now, which train is actually moving, and when to look up from your
phone.

It's for people who catch the same few trains most days. It shows live departures for any station
in the UK, plans the trip door to door, follows the train you're on, wakes you before your stop and
tells you when a delay is worth claiming for. It doesn't sell tickets. It's for everything that
happens after you've got one.

LIVE DEPARTURE BOARDS
- Any station in the UK, by name or CRS code, with platforms and delays
- The reason behind a delay in plain English, not just a red number
- Rail replacement buses shown as "BUS" rather than a missing platform
- Refreshes itself every 30 seconds, or immediately when you pull down
- Recent keeps the trains you have looked at and shows where each is now, for when you have just
missed one
- Platform predictions from your own history: a "~Plat 8" is a hint, never a promise

THE WHOLE JOURNEY
- Door to door with changes included, so a trip with a change reads as one journey
- Cross-London legs on the Underground, planned with the train either side
- Calling points for your own leg, to check a train stops where you need
- Where no route is found it says so and shows departures from your station
- Underground legs and Smart Routes are London only. Trains work anywhere in the UK

ON THE TRAIN
- Mark the train you boarded and it stays amber on the board and in Recent
- It follows the service from the live timetable, not your phone's position. On Android 16 the
tracking notification is a Live Update
- Coach layout and how full each coach is, where the train company shares it
- Unit numbers and train class, for spotters
- An alarm before your stop, with vibration and a tone you choose

WHEN IT GOES WRONG
- Smart Routes looks for a faster way round when your usual route is disrupted, including a Tube
route that connects to a train you can still catch. When nothing connects, it says so
- Get Me Home builds the journey you make most often, one tap from opening the app
- Journey alerts: a notification when a train you watch is cancelled, late or changes platform,
even with the app closed
- A home-screen widget with your next one to six trains, which can turn round for the journey home
after midday

DELAY REPAY, WITHOUT THE ARITHMETIC
- FleetWatch checks your arrival against your operator's Delay Repay rules and tells you when a
journey qualifies. If your train was cancelled, it judges you on the next train that ran
- Last 28 days for any pair of stations, and per-train reliability, so you know which to catch
- It prepares the details and opens the claim page. The claim itself is yours to send

NO LOCATION, NO ACCOUNT
- FleetWatch never asks for your location. Tracking works from the live timetable, not GPS
- No account, no sign-in, no advertising identifier, no adverts
- Your stations and settings stay on your phone. Alerts use a random anonymous ID and a
notification token, sent to our server so it can message you. A one-way hash of the Android ID
stops the free trial restarting on reinstall

WHAT IT COSTS
Free, for good: the live departure board, station search, disruption information, the calling
points and coach layout for your own journey.

Free for your first 14 days, then a yearly plan (£6.99 a year): Get Me Home,
boarded tracking with the alarm, Smart Routes, Avoid the Underground, full-journey detail,
platform-only filtering, saved favourites with the widget, journey alerts, Delay Repay, reliability
and your full Recent history rather than the last three trains. The yearly plan renews through Google Play and cancels
there at any time.

Live information comes from National Rail. FleetWatch is not affiliated with National Rail,
Transport for London or any train operator.

Purpose over decoration, function over flair. For the masses not the one.
