scrolly puts everything your friend groups share in one feed. The videos, songs and articles you would have sent to the group chat go here instead, and each post gets a chat thread of its own.
Groups are invite-only: you join with a code or a link from someone already in one. There is no discovery, no public profiles and no recommendations.
Your circle's own scrollable feed
Be in as many groups as you like. They blend into one feed you scroll through, and you can filter it down to a single group. The feed is what your friends posted, and it ends when you have seen all of it.
No algorithms, friend curated
Nothing is ranked for you and nothing is suggested: everything in the feed was posted by someone in one of your groups. Posts file themselves under watch, podcasts, read or music. You set which of those comes first, or sort everything by the date it was posted.
Post any link, from any app
Share a link to scrolly from the app you found it in, or paste it, and add a caption if you like. A video plays in its platform's own embedded player, so one feed stands in for an app per link. Any other link shows as a card that opens the page. You can also pair a computer and post from its browser.
scrolly does not copy the videos you link to. It stores the link and the preview picture the site publishes for it, and your phone plays the video from the platform it lives on.
A chat thread for every post
Each post has its own chat thread, so the group chat stays on topic. Comments, replies, GIFs and emoji reactions sit under the post they are about. Heart a post, save it for later or send it on. Notifications tell you when a friend posts, when someone comments or reacts, and when you can post again.
Share across multiple groups
One post can go to several groups at once. You pick which when you share.
Scrollies
Each post spends one of your scrollies, and watching what your friends posted brings them back. It keeps a group posting about as much as it watches. When you are out, what you share waits in your queue and posts itself when you have one again.
quilted
quilted is one optional paid membership, bought through the store you installed scrolly from. It adds recording and uploading your own videos, seeing who watched your posts and for how long (anyone can keep theirs private), a queue with no limit, and letting a host change the posting rules for their group. Watching, posting links, commenting, reacting and starting a group need no membership.
Reporting and blocking
Report any post or comment from its menu. It goes to your group's host and to us, and we look at every report within 24 hours. Uploaded videos are also checked automatically, and anything flagged waits for a person. Block anyone and you disappear from each other's feeds in both directions, straight away; they are not told, and you can undo it. The host can delete anything in the group and remove members. You can write to scrolly@312.dev about anything, and a person reads it.
What scrolly does not do
No analytics SDK, no advertising network and no tracking. Crash reports and app start times carry no account and turn off in settings. Nothing about you is sold. Delete your account from inside the app and it asks what should happen to what you posted before it does anything.
