About this app

ViaAccess Technician is the app for those who install and maintain door readers at a location. Condominiums, companies, gyms, and clubs use the same manager access in ViaAccess Identity.

Log in with the manager's email and password. The account is created in the location's panel.

After logging in:

• View the doors and whether each reader is online
• Install one reader per door
• Adjust the relay, door sensor, and hardware in Settings
• Link, move, or unlink a card, QR code, or facial recognition puck
• Uninstall the door reader

The default installation uses Bluetooth. The mobile phone remains on the building's Wi-Fi. In Manual Add, the app enters the reader's temporary network (viaaccess-setup) to send the Wi-Fi and the link.

The building's Wi-Fi password is only sent to the reader to access the network. It is not stored in the technician's cloud profile.

On Android, the system may request location to authorize Bluetooth search. The app does not compile a route history and does not share location.

In the Profile section, you will find the privacy policy, terms, account logout, and login deletion options. Deleting the account removes manager access. Members and readers of the site remain.

Members log in through the ViaAccess app.
