About this app
Nova is based on an idea that most task apps ignore: you don't have infinite energy. A day where you don't get everything done is still a day that counts.
So instead of making your to-do list grow daunting, Nova helps you choose one thing, stops you when you're pushing yourself too hard, and tells you it's okay to stop.
YOUR DAILY ENERGY
Every morning, Nova asks you how you're feeling and fills a gauge. Each task you add has a cost: a little, a medium, a lot. When the gauge gets too low, Nova doesn't let you add more—it suggests you take a break.
That's the heart of the app: deciding in advance not to overload yourself, rather than regretting it later.
ONE THING AT A TIME
The home screen only shows one task: the next one. The rest waits in the next tab, out of sight.
If you're stuck on a task, the unblocking mode breaks it down into tiny steps. And if you can't decide, Nova will choose for you.
A COMPANION, AND A GROWING GARDEN
Every completed task earns stars, helps your companion grow, and brightens your landscape. Stars are used to collect stickers to place on your canvases.
No streaks to break, no badges to lose if you're away, no guilt-inducing reminders. The garden grows as you progress, and it waits for you when you stop.
THOUGHTS FOR DIFFICULT DAYS
A short, judgment-free weekend recap to take stock.
A gentle message in the evening when the day isn't over.
Messages that adapt to your mood.

YOUR DATA
An account with your email address allows you to retrieve your tasks, stars, and garden if you change phones. This is its only use. Nothing is resold, nothing is used for advertising purposes. You can delete your account and all its data from the settings with just two taps.
Nova is free and ad-free. It is reserved for people aged 16 and over.
