About this app

Warsha BLE Studio turns your Android phone into a Bluetooth LE peripheral, so you can build and test the app that connects to it without buying the hardware first. Your phone advertises, serves its GATT services, and answers reads, writes and subscriptions like the real device. Explore works the other way round: it scans for the devices around you and connects to them.

RUN A READY-MADE DEVICE
Pick a peripheral from the catalog and press Run:
• Single peripherals such as Heart Rate, Battery, Glucose and Current Time
• iBeacon, AltBeacon and Eddystone beacons
• The Treadmill: Fitness Machine, Heart Rate, Battery and Device Information linked into one device, so raising the speed makes the heart rate climb

Run it on-air for a real central to find, or in local simulation inside the app, with nothing to pair. Starting values such as speed or battery level are saved for the next run.

SEE WHAT YOUR APP SEES
While a peripheral runs, the Session tab shows it three ways:
• Operate: the device's controls. Change the speed or hold a value
• Inspect: each characteristic's raw value, timing and connected centrals
• Log: what happened and when, including your script's output

EXPLORE NEARBY DEVICES
Scan, filter, save the devices you come back to and follow their signal. Connect to read, write and subscribe, with standard values decoded and custom ones described once as named fields. Record actions and replay them, export a trace, or compare two runs. Point Explore at Local Simulation to test your own peripheral with no second device.

SCRIPT YOUR OWN PERIPHERAL (PRO)
When the catalog doesn't have your device, write it in JavaScript. A script defines services and characteristics and answers reads, writes and subscriptions itself, in a sandbox where networking and storage stay off until you allow them. Pro also includes:
• Every composed device, including Indoor Bike, Rower, HID Keyboard and BLE-MIDI Keyboard
• Behavior hooks that react to what a central writes
• The GATT profile library and importing scripts from a URL
• Networking, storage and state machines for scripts
• Real-time shaping and fault injection

WRITE ON THE BIG SCREEN
The Remote Script Editor serves a full editor to your laptop's browser. Pair it with the app's PIN, save, and the script runs on the phone without a rebuild. Its traffic is not encrypted, so use a Wi-Fi network you trust.

PLANS
Free: Explore, the single peripherals, the beacons and the Treadmill, with the inspector and log. Writing, importing and exporting scripts is free too; running them is Pro.

Founding Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that keeps Pro unlocked permanently; it may close to new buyers after the founding period. To try Pro first, choose a monthly or yearly subscription with a 14-day free trial (one trial per Google account). All three unlock the same features, at the price Google Play shows for your region. Cancelling, or letting a trial end, never locks or deletes your scripts.

PRIVACY
Crash reports and usage analytics are separate opt-in choices, both off by default. Your scripts stay on your phone. No advertising identifier is collected. Scanning needs the location permission and Location switched on; Explore never reads your location, and results stay on your phone.

REQUIREMENTS
Android 11 or newer. On-air advertising needs a phone whose Bluetooth supports the peripheral role; local simulation works on any supported phone.
