Neon Impact is an arcade space shooter where you fly straight into the screen through neon galaxies. The camera sits right behind your ship, obstacles rush at you, and you steer with one finger while you shoot with the other.
STEER AND SHOOT
Slide your finger to move left and right, forward and back. The fire button smashes rocks, drones and glass walls. Some walls have a gap, and you have to squeeze through it. Ammo runs out, so grab energy cells on the way. Power-ups give you a plasma shield, laser, spread shot, magnet, hyperjump and EMP.
CAMPAIGN: 5 GALAXIES, 50 LEVELS
Orion Belt, Crab Nebula, Ice Ring, Red Dwarf and Black Hole. Each galaxy has 10 levels, and later ones add mines, turrets, solar flares and gravity wells. Earn up to 3 stars per level: reach the finish, collect the crystals and fly without losing a shield.
BOSSES
At the end of every galaxy a space creature is waiting: Rockjaw, Broodqueen, Frostcoil, Lanternmaw and the Abyss Eye. Each one fights its own way, with aimed orbs, fans of bullets, sweeping lasers, minion swarms and walls with a single gap. You can see every attack coming, so a sharp-eyed pilot wins. Shoot the boss apart piece by piece until its weak spot opens up.
RUN: THE ENDLESS FLIGHT
Beat the first boss to unlock the Run. You fly until you crash, and every 2,000 meters you enter a new region of space. Skim past an obstacle for a Close call bonus. Kills and close calls charge your Fury, and then for a few seconds you ram through everything in your path. Every so often a Tempest rolls in: a dense wall of obstacles where every point counts double. Fly without crashing to push your multiplier up to ×4.
WORLD, WEEKLY AND MONTHLY LEADERBOARDS
Every Run score goes on the leaderboard. Fight for your place in the world, this week and this month. The top 1,000 pilots of the week earn crystals, and the top 3 of the month win podium skins.
8 SHIPS AND UPGRADES
Iskra, Osa, Taran, Bliźniak, Kolec, Moździerz, Widmo and Cień. Each one flies differently: more shields, quicker steering or three cannons. Kolec, Moździerz, Widmo and Cień have their own ability, like a 10-rocket salvo or phasing through obstacles. Every ship can be bought with crystals you earn in the game. Upgrade the cannon, armor, engine, magazine, power core and radar up to level 10, and watch new parts appear on your ship.
SKINS
More than 70 skins: camo, carbon, tiger stripes, lava, gold, chrome and animated designs. Earn some by beating bosses and collecting stars, and buy others with crystals.
