How to Use DeviceSeal
1) Select a Security Mode
Use “UNSEALED” mode with GPS blocking or configure a custom profile.

2) Choose Blocking Options
Enable microphone, camera, or both. Use "Active Microphone Blocking" to retain voice command functionality.

3) Whitelist Trusted Apps
Allow specific apps to bypass mic, camera, and GPS restrictions.

4) Set Timer Mode
Schedule different modes for different times of the day for automatic protection.

5) Block Screen Recording
Enable screen capture protection to prevent unauthorized recordings.

6) Activate GPS Blocking
Control when and how your location is shared or spoofed.

7) Enable NetCut Firewall
Filter internet traffic using the local VPN firewall for full data control.

Setup Tips by Android Version
Android 13 Users
Accept "Show Notification" request during installation.

If missed, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Android 11/12 Users
Go to Settings > Device Care:

Battery > Background usage limits > Never Sleeping Apps → Add DeviceSeal

Memory > Excluded Apps → Add DeviceSeal

Battery Optimization:

Settings → Apps → DeviceSeal → Battery → Optimize battery usage → Set to "Not Optimized"

Chinese Devices (e.g., Xiaomi, Redmi with MIUI)
Go to:
System Settings > Apps > Manage System Apps > Security > Boost Speed > Lock Apps

Select DeviceSeal

Then go to:
App Info > Auto Start → Enable for DeviceSeal

I'm confused. Stop screen capture doesn't stay on. as soon as I go off app. even if I leave open in background. as soon as I do anything outside the app. even reduce it and open back up. it's off. allowing screen capture. and internet filter only showed me my list of apps once. now it's always stuck in wait minute mode. supposedly loading. my wifi is def compromised tho and downloaded it though that. Excellent privacy app, and a dev that responds asap. The new update, thank you, has fixed a few glitches. Thanks !!!

DO NOT USE THIS APP. This app asks to become the default phone app just to block mic or camera, and refuses to work unless users grant this permission, that’s a huge red flag. Why? Because the default phone app is to handle calls. If an app doesn’t actually provide a dialer interface or call service, it shouldn’t be asking for this permission at all. DeviceSeal asked for:Microphone,Camera,Notifications,Default phone app,System overlay. This is far beyond what a simple blocker should ever need!

1) Introduction of Net Saver to limit background data while the phone is idle (does not impact ongoing calls)
2) Basic Mode is introduced with selected options
3) Try the Location unblock timer.
