About this app

mindLAMP is a clinical and research app developed by the Digital Psychiatry Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School–affiliated teaching hospital. If you are part of a LAMP clinical study, you may download the app after completing informed consent with study staff. A standalone companion app is available for Google WearOS devices. If you are not part of a partner study or clinic, you will not be able to access the app.

mindLAMP supports clinicians and researchers by securely collecting health and activity data from study participants. Depending on the study requirements, and only after users provide explicit consent, the app may collect the following data types through Health Connect:

HeartRate, Steps, Speed, TotalCaloriesBurned, Distance, Hydration, Nutrition, BloodGlucose, BloodPressure, BodyTemperature, Sleep, RespiratoryRate, and ActiveCaloriesBurned.

These data types are used solely for approved clinical research and patient-care insights as explained during the study’s informed consent process. Users may choose whether to allow or deny data collection, and can continue using non–data-collection features even if they decline.

The app is available in multiple languages: English, Korean, French, Danish, German, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Switch to your preferred language for a more personalized experience.

For details on the privacy policy and terms of use, please refer to the handouts provided by study staff.
LAMP is a research app that is part of a clinical study to manage mental health.

There may be differences from the iOS version, but I cannot complete a questionnaire from the feed tab if one from before was not filled out. This skews and forces me to deviate from protocol. I also wasn't able to fill out some of the questionnaires at the end of the day despite filling out all of the ones before. I don't receive notifications to fill out the surveys either.

The last version i received made my Galaxy 9 overheat 3 or more times a day. I lost 100% battery in under 3 hours without using it. It sends records of what you're doing regularly. The quizzes were fun, it was nice to see a record over time of my moods as well. Alarm was not changeable by me.

I enjoyed the research i took part in on this app. app is barebones and glitches sometimes, but the daily checkins are pretty helpful for keeping track of my mood. would use it again👍
