Good app, but could be improved Have been using this app with my rode smartlav+ and its really good. The only thing I dislike is the X at the bottom right corner - i have no idea if it's delete or exit and has made me accidentally delete my recording rather than save it. Please improve this - could ask users 'do you want to save this?' or 'or you sure you want to cancel recording?' would make a big difference! Also an option to name the file as soon as it's recorded would make it easier to find my file.
Great free app with functionality surpassing some paid apps Overall, this is a great free app. Some highlights: -No length limit -highest quality WAV recording, and option to convert to MP3 at high audio quality rate -automatic gain control option -gain control, even during recording One small problem to report to the developer: The "prevent phone from sleeping" option, when chosen, will actually prevent the screen from going dark (to save battery) and the phone from locking (for security) as long as the app is on, not just when playback or recording is in progress. This will likely cause battery drain if the user accidentally leave the app on but idle. I would prefer and expect the screen to darken and the lock to engage as desired when the app is on and idle. If this is fixed, this great app will be perfect.
Some things interesting, but it's a seriously fucked up app. The interface is somewhat incomprehensible, the Help file is completely useless, and it consistently uploads the wrong clip -- to my embarassment. Eat my shorts! -- Bart Simpson
Pretty good sound With the iRig (though the FAQ days not with my nexus 7) although there's noise on 'quite'. I would really like a better i/f. If someone is recording music, they're likely to have their heads pre-occupied, so nice big buttons for record/playback... and a clear button for re-start, for those of us who are so rubbish we need many tries!
I like it a lot so far, especially the file management capability. I use different subfolders for my recordings. But there is a problem: you cannot tell in which folder you are! It only shows the name of the parent folder. I think it should always show the name of the current folder too. can you fix this? thx!
Saves to external SD card! Okay, so Google made it so Android 4.4 KitKat has the initial recording path unusually long. But I think that's a small price to not worry about filling up my phone's memory.
