About this app

This application contains some unusual concepts and elements, accordingly a short foreword with practical suggestions may be helpful.

1. Run the whole project without any valuable embryos or oocytes (you may still use the lab bench, microscope, pipettes, solutions etc.for a pilot experiment) to get familiar with the system.

2. Most videos run parallel with the respective timer.Do not stop, rewind, restart videos, proceed with them without interruption, otherwise you will not be able to keep the required time-frames.

3. Videos provide general information and give you instructions and illustrations for the subsequent task.Do not work while videos are running unless instructed otherwise. After the suggested incubation periods videos will stop,the timer will beep. You will have time to make the required work, then - when instructed- you will have to start the stopwatch again.

4. Please make sure that your phone is charged or connect to a charger before you start to run the application.

What’s new

This App combines graphic instruction and video to demonstrate OPS system with good interface and process operation. It includes preparetion, use method, time function and precautions when using Open Pulled Straw (OPS) for vitrification.
