Sushi pearl Sushi Saiko in Christianshavn offers some of the most delicious authentic sushi you can get in the city. If you love sushi and would like to be pampered extra in terms of freshness and taste, Sushi Saiko is definitely worth a visit. At Sushi Saiko, we do not compromise on quality, so you are guaranteed the best sushi tasting experience in town.
The restaurant is located in the heart of Christianshavn on Sankt Annæ Gade in listed, cozy basement rooms with minimalist decor and space for approx. 12 people.
The list of Japanese main dishes, side dishes and starters in addition to sushi is long, and offers, for example, classic miso soup, delicious rice paper rolls/ spring rolls, salads, noodle dishes, yakiniku beef, gyoza chicken or grilled sticks in many varieties. If you have special requests for your sushi, we can almost always accommodate them. Finally, don't be reticent with inquiries. It is you and our sushi that must unite.
We make many of our dishes from scratch and many of our sauces are homemade. as the newest, we pickle our own organic ginger.
Many of our dishes are vegetarian or vegan and if it should be gluten-free, we have many gluten-free dishes to choose from and if it is other allergens that cannot be tolerated, we have written in our menu which dishes contain different allergens. But most of the dishes on our menu are gluten-free. Look for the small letters in the menu card.
In addition to many of the main ingredients, almost all of our vegetables and many other ingredients are organic, and we strive to continuously add more and more raw materials to the list of organic raw materials. We have expanded our range with organic colonial goods.
The disposable plastic packaging has been replaced and we now use 100% biodegradable bagasse trays. Small measures can make a big difference in the whole, e.g. we have replaced the washcloths with cotton cloths.
As our guest, you can also contribute to a better environment by telling us if you don't need various things such as soy bowls, sticks etc. or even bring packaging yourself.
All sushi dishes are served with organic home-pickled ginger, wasabi and organic gluten-free soy. Please inform us of any food allergies.
S = contains shellfish, V = vegetarian, G = contains gluten, (G) (V) (S) = can be made gluten-free / without shellfish / as vegetarian, L = contains lactose, N = contains nuts, VV = vegan.
If you are trying to avoid other ingredients such as carbohydrates, feel free to ask us and we can recommend dishes without these.
In order to avoid possible waiting time, it is a good idea to call ahead and order takeout and it is also a good idea to book a table well in advance as there is limited space.
