This one's a bit tricky because it is not a stand-alone app, but relies on you to be familiar already with Sailwave (http://www.sailwave.com/). Sailwave is made available to yacht clubs large and small in exchange for promoting it, and so is a very popular way to score sailboat races. To use this Scoring Assistant efficiently, you'll need to transfer the CSV file back and forth between Sailwave and the Scoring Assistant. For that you need a USB or Bluetooth connection between tablet and PC (Sailwave is written in the Java programming language, so it runs on Macs and on Linux too). You can even email the CSV files back and forth if you have a reliable data connection. If managing all that sounds too technical or complicated, you will not find this program useful. But if you give yourself time to learn how this is intended to work, the Scoring Assistant can be a great time-saver and a handy way to mark finish times on the water, allowing Sailwave to do its calculations later.
Very keen to use but cant upload file or unable to get help!
No Help button Cant load file keeps saying file error. No help button. No instructions apart from above. Do you have to set the competitor list up the same as what's in the pictures? Would love to try it but cant get it working.
Solves several bugs related to import of sailwave files.
