SafeCircle is in beta. The core works — SOS, verified helpers, Safe Walk Home — but the app is young and some features may not work perfectly yet. If something is wrong, write to hello@safecircle.dk and we will fix it.
SafeCircle is a verified safety community for Denmark. Every member is identity-checked via MitID — so when you trigger an alarm, you know the helpers being notified are real people with confirmed identities.
The app works as a personal safety alarm: you trigger SOS and verified members nearby are notified immediately, with your live location.
⚠️ SafeCircle does not replace 1-1-2. Always call 1-1-2 in a life-threatening emergency.
SafeCircle is a private service operated by Safe Circle ApS. We do not represent, and are not affiliated with, the Danish police, the 1-1-2 emergency service, the Danish Agency for Digital Government, or any other public authority. SafeCircle is not a public emergency service.

HOW IT WORKS
→ Sign in with MitID. Your identity is verified pseudonymously; we never store your CPR.
→ Press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds.
→ Verified members nearby are notified with your live location — each member chooses how far away they want to be alerted. Your own circle is notified too, however far away they are.
→ Audio and video are recorded and securely stored for up to 48 hours.
→ Cancel with your PIN, or confirm safe contact with a helper.
SAFE WALK HOME
Heading home at night? Start a walk, pick your destination, and your circle can follow you until you arrive. If you are overdue, they are told.
VERIFIED IDENTITY
Other apps let anonymous users respond. SafeCircle shows you a name, confirmed by MitID — so you always know who's coming.

• If someone near you triggers an alarm, it now appears on your home screen as soon as you open the app — not only if you tap the notification.
• Everyone who set off to help is now told when an alarm ends.
