MY DIGITAL SELF-DEFENSE
Do you need help avoiding scams via fake emails, text messages, competitions, webshops and calls? My digital self-defense is a free app that helps you stay safe online. The app keeps you up to date on the latest digital scams.
SCAM WARNINGS
With My Digital Self-Defense, you get a notification directly on your mobile when there are scam emails, fake text messages or other scams in circulation.
TIP US ABOUT A THREAT
Via the app, you can tip us off on your phone or tablet about the digital threats you encounter in your everyday life. In this way, you help others avoid fake emails, text messages and links.
HELP YOUR CLOSE ONES
You can tip your trusted friends and family members off about scams you have received. Add up to five friends to the app and share your tips with them so they can be warned – or help you if you are in doubt whether a message is real or a scam.
WHO IS BEHIND
My digital self-defense was developed in the spring of 2017 in collaboration between the Danish Consumer Council Think, the Danish Council for Crime Prevention and TrygFonden. From 2018 onwards, the app will be operated and developed by the Danish Consumer Council Think and TrygFonden.
A wide range of authorities, companies and NGOs collaborate to issue current warnings via My digital self-defense. You can find a complete list of partners in the app itself.
If you have feedback or questions, you can always contact us via mail@mitdigitaleselvforsvar.dk.
Please note that we collect data for user statistics when you download and use the app. We use the statistics to continuously improve the user experience in the app.
