About this app

Still is a screen time control app and app blocker that helps you stop doom scrolling before it starts. Choose the apps that pull you in. The next time you open one, Still adds a short pause so you can decide on purpose: open it, or do something else.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick the apps you want to use less. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and any other app on your phone.

When you open a blocked app, Still shows a calm breathing pause. Hold for a few seconds to continue, or walk away. That small screen blocker is often enough to break the habit.

Set how long each visit lasts. When your time is up, Still brings you back to the pause. Step away and come back quickly, and you can continue where you left off.

See how many times you skipped the app and how much time you saved. A simple way to reduce screen time, one choice at a time.

A SHORT DOPAMINE DETOX

Doom scrolling is automatic. Still makes it deliberate. The pause is a few seconds of stillness before the feed, a light dopamine detox that keeps you in control. Nothing is locked away forever. You can still open the app when you mean to.

WHAT YOU GET

• App blocker for the apps you choose • Screen blocker that pauses you before the app opens • Screen time control for each visit • A count of times skipped and time saved • Works with social apps, video, and anything else you want to use less • No account and no ads

YOUR SCREEN STAYS PRIVATE

Still only checks which app is open so it can show the pause. It never reads your messages, passwords, or what is on your screen. Your history stays on your phone.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Still uses Android's AccessibilityService API for one purpose: to detect when an app you chose comes to the foreground, so it can show the pause.

The service only receives which app is open. It does not read your messages, passwords, or anything on your screen, and screen content never leaves your phone.

Still explains this in the app before Android's Accessibility settings open. You turn it on yourself, and you can turn it off any time in Android Settings, then Accessibility. Still does not change your settings, block uninstall, hide notifications, or record audio.

STILL PRO

Start free with one app. Still Pro is a one-time purchase: block more apps, and set your own timing. No subscription.
