Sandhyavandanam is a daily ritualistic prayer performed by dvijas,
who are initiated into vedic mantras with proper upanayanam(Sacred
thread ceremony) conducted by a Guru.
This prayer includes salutations to Lord Surya Deva by offering
Arghyam(water oblation) and performing Gayathri Japam.
These 2 steps are the main crux of this ritual, for which other
additional procedures are attached to support these 2 steps as part of
cleansing internal and external body as achamanam, marjanam,
purnarmarjam, pranayamam and so on.
This ritual also includes another very important meditation segment
called Aikyanusandhanam. i.e.,one should meditate on the
identification of (his) individual soul with the supreme soul.
How This App Works.
1) This App provides an end to end solution to perform yajur vedic
sandhyavandanam without anybody's assistance.
2) Step by Step guidance provided for each stage as to what to do, how to do etc
3) Audio being played simultaneously with proper intonation – this is
very helpful to follow and recite back for which appropriate time is
given for repeating the mantra.
4) Pictures on neat and clear postures explaining each and every stage
which is very helpful for the user while performing the ritual.
5) All Vedic mantras will have supportive vedic text in 2 languages
following along with audio with proper intonations
6) Play and pause control is provide to pause the flow of the ritual
anytime and continue without any hassle when needed.
7) To quickly traverse to any stage and learn only that stage, ‘next’
and ‘previous’ controls are provided.
8) Options to choose between morning and evening Sandhya from the
overflow menu is also provided for easy access and these options can
be changed anytime later
9) To set individual preference settings, access the settings page
