Why record video and pictures and access files media etc to search for books totally over the top will be uninstalling

More times than not, book covers are not available and that permission allows the user to take their own. Unfortunately, that permission appears to be bundled with the video permission.

Tried several times to scan barcode. Kept prompting about my battery being under 16% then asking if I'd like to continue. Selecting 'yes' results in return to home screen without book being added. There is zero reason for this app to even poll battery life let alone exhibit behavior directly counter to user instruction. Also why query battery charge if you're going to ignore being connected to AC?

There are no providers in the settings and no way to add them. Also cannot enable automatic updates. So I can't easily add any book.
