Passing through an airport is not the same as living somewhere for a year. bound paints in four depths — transit, day trip, stayed, lived — and the color deepens with each one.

It is not a yes/no checkbox. How you actually met each country becomes the map.

Log a country as many times as you go back. Arrival and departure can be a year, a year and month, or a full date — put in whatever detail you remember. Notes, photos and links to the pages you used go on each entry too.

Start by ticking off the countries you've been to, continent by continent. A lifetime of travel becomes a map in a few minutes, and you can refine the depth and the dates whenever they come back to you.

A score built from how many countries you have met and how deeply. Progress by continent, your farthest point, days spent traveling — all totaled for you.

Your home screen surfaces trips from the same month, or the same season. When an entry has no photo, a scene from that country stands in for it.

What’s new

New: import your flights.

Export your flights from Flighty and email them to your personal bound address. bound sorts them into the countries you visited and how long you stayed, and you review everything before it goes on your map. Start from "Import flights" in Settings (free, sign-in required).

We also fixed a few bugs. We would love to hear what you think.
