About this app

FreeTaps is the free application that reference all sources of drinking water, to hydrate throughout without creating waste!

With FreeTaps you can:

• Find a water point near the place where you are to fill your water bottle or drinking with your hands!
• Report a water point which does not appear on the map, that we add.

What you can do more:

• talk about FreeTaps to shops, restaurants close to you: if they decide to provide water to their customers for free, we will source them in the basic FreeTaps and send them stickers to stick on their window (nice not?) - tell them to report to the application, we will contact them!

• You are in good dev and you want to give us a hand? it's possible !
• You know OSM and you want to give us a hand? It's possible !

Why FreeTaps?

To disposable bottles that are the most common waste in the seas and oceans. In addition, bottled water costs 400 times more than tap water, so it's not only bad for the ecology, but also for your wallet!
Take a water bottle, disposable happen, it's a reflex to acquire!

Who are we ?

FreeTaps is an initiative of the Eaupen association created by Gobilab. Since 2011 we identify the fountains to put to you, and allow you to avoid generating waste by consuming water /
