The Maker Town™ App is a simple tool for discovering over 600 makers, artists and galleries across Northeast Ohio. This expanding directory helps you find small businesses that create handmade products in many categories. Easily see all the local makers who have both physical locations and online storefronts. Filter the options to see who offers items under $100 and who provides local delivery.
Explore the wide range of Northeast Ohio businesses who make jewelry, wall art, furniture, home decor, fashion, pet products, wellness items and paper goods! If you see something you like, you can easily click through to a makers’ website, where you can browse or buy directly from the source.
Use the MAP view to locate all the maker boutiques, art galleries, and artist studios you can visit. Use the EVENTS view to find upcoming pop-up markets, art shows and workshops you can attend. And with our latest release, our VIDEOS page lets you watch clips of makers crafting their products and sharing their personal stories. It doesn't have a search by category of item. I was looking for handmade greeting cards but there wasn't a way to find that. I could only search by an artist's name or by an event. Let's say I wanted a painting of a sunset, or a pastoral scene, or I wanted a silver necklace - I couldn't figure out a way to do that.

Hi, did you set 1 of the 8 filters upon opening? This is a directory app offering 100s of image results based off of those categories like Paper Products, Wall Art, Jewelry and more. The purpose is for browsing to see what type of local makers interest you. If you like a maker's style, click thru to their website to search for more specific items.

Incredible app. You can shop small and local makers so easily now. There's never been an app to help the small maker community like this before.

What's new
Version 2.0 of the Maker Town® App features a streamlined user interface that takes you right into the image directory, making it easier to filter by category and quickly learn about upcoming events. This version also features video shorts of local makers throughout each filtered view, providing even more opportunities for local makers to be discovered by those interested in handmade and local goods.
