I had some issues accessing audio content for certain pieces, but otherwise the execution is impressive and really added to the experience. If you're going to the Art Institute; grab this app. My only gripe is that I really wish some of the exhibits had an exhibit-wide audio track to give context; this would pair really well with the single artwork audio logs.

I need to counter these negative reviews. The app worked great! Easy to use, informative, and a complete substitute for the rented audio device. I used it all day (6 + hours) in a full range of exhibits. No problems anywhere.. Maybe the headphones didn't work; I don't know -- didn't try those. But I don't think that putting a smart phone up to your ear is a huge problem. BTW, I also saw many other people using the app on their phones.

The idea behind this app is great. Enabling everyone to freely access the museum audio tours that you used to have to rent a device to listen to is awesome. The implementation is poor, though. The app was only able to bring up and play one audio clip at a time. After listening to a clip, if I tried to bring another up for a different artwork, it wouldn't load and I'd have to restart the app. This took 30+ seconds due to the app's long splash screen, making the app effectively useless.
