WGU Mobile is the official Western Governors University mobile application for active students. You can study on-the-go by accessing your courses, receive push notifications for assessments, easily contact faculty, and more.

The new WGU Mobile has been completely redesigned! With the new app, you can:
• Use the app on your phone or tablet in portrait or landscape orientation
• Receive push notifications for updates on your assessments
• View your entire degree plan, including the courses you are enrolled in, those you have completed, and those remaining to complete your degree
• Access all your courses, including being able to view Course Announcements, Tips, and Assessments
• Pick up your course right where you left off in the Student Portal—your course progress is automatically synchronized between the two
• Easily locate contact information for your program mentor, course instructors, and WGU support departments
• Access helpful links to resources like the WGU Library, Student Handbook, and more
• See which mobile apps other students find useful in the App Center

Ratings and reviews

Just flickers and restarts per second. doesn't work. Outlook is a bust 90% of the time and rarely works. The app is very dated. A waste of time trying to check notifications or anything the instructor says. Might as well wait until you can get into your laptop. It works better. The Web browser works good too.

The app crashes a lot. If there's a link to additional materials, the app freezes and you're forced to close it. I really want the app to work for the convenience of studying on the go, but it's proven easier to wait until I'm in front of a laptop or PC to get any studying done.

Deleted the app. It is easier to login through a web page. Several of the books have formatting issues on the app but the worst thing is that nothing seems to load. I can't get into the email or watch any videos embedded in the text. Sometimes the text reader doesn't even work. It doesn't make a difference if I am on wifi or mobile data, I can't get past the loading screen. I think I gave the email portion almost 10 minutes before I gave up. Just overall very frustrating and not functional.
